Department of English, since the inception of the College in the year 2012 follows the Curriculum prescribed by the Rajiv Gandhi University Curricula. The Department follows NEP 2020 since its introduction in the Academic session 2023- 24. The range of courses offered to under graduates are intended to develop various skills such as reading and speaking as well as critical thinking and writing. To acquaint students with contemporary trend in English literature, the department offers courses in American Literature, European Literature, Postcolonial Literature, Women’s Writing, Indian Writing in English and Translations and New Literature across genres. At present the department is running with four faculties.
